We provide claims management services only. We do not provide legal advice.
We provide claims management services in relation to housing disrepair. This includes:
receiving and assessing enquiries about potential housing disrepair issues;
gathering initial information to assess whether a claim may be appropriate; and
where appropriate, referring customers to a solicitor from our panel who may be able to assist further.
Any decision to pursue a claim, and any legal advice provided, is the responsibility of the solicitor you choose to instruct.
All enquiries are subject to an initial assessment. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee that:
you have a valid housing disrepair claim; or
your case will be accepted by a solicitor.
Eligibility is determined based on the information you provide and the relevant legal criteria applied by the solicitor.
We do not charge customers for our claims management services.
Where your case is referred to a panel solicitor, we may receive a fixed referral fee from that solicitor between £500–£1,000 if the case proceeds. This fixed referral fee:
is paid by the solicitor;
does not increase the fees you pay to the solicitor; and
does not affect your legal rights.
Any fees, costs, or success fees payable to a solicitor will be explained to you separately by that solicitor before you decide whether to instruct them.
Typically, panel solicitors charge a success fee of 25% plus VAT, which is usually deducted from any compensation awarded.
Solicitors on our panel are independent legal practices regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). We do not control or supervise the legal services they provide.
You are under no obligation to proceed with any referral we make and may withdraw at any time before choosing to instruct a solicitor.
We aim to ensure that our communications are clear, fair, and not misleading, and that customers are able to make informed decisions about whether to proceed.
We will take reasonable steps to identify and support customers with characteristics of vulnerability, in line with our Vulnerable Customers Policy.

our regulatory responsibilities;
your statutory rights; or
liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We are responsible for the claims management services we provide. We are not responsible for legal advice or services provided by solicitors.
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data.
